The Brief
TaylorMade Model Makers is an architectural model making company based in London. Director Tom Taylor reached out requiring a professional website to showcase their portfolio of projects, and promote their services, to attract their ideal clients.
TaylorMade Model Makers had a keyword phrase which they wanted to rank highly for in search engines.
The Process
After a thorough research and discovery phase we concluded that the website should have a visual connection with their target market.
Layout options were discussed and sketched to find the best way to present the portfolio and services offered. Once agreed I created a number of design visuals utilising the large photographs of the projects supplied by TaylorMade Model Makers. This allowed for the details of the models to be clearly visible within intelligent use of white space.

After a few small rounds of iterations to make sure the site was going to achieve its purpose, it progressed to being built on the Craft content management system. The site was built to be optimised achieving a high page speed score, with the smart placement of keywords in Headings and Meta information. This easy-to-use CMS allows TaylorMade Model Makers to update their website themselves, including adding more projects as their portfolio of work grows.
